Olivia Graves is a teenage author with a dream to bring magic back into the world. Through her poetically whimsical yet macabre storytelling, she illustrates worlds far beyond considered the norm where magic runs wild, dreams and nightmares are made into reality, and even the most misunderstood of creatures can find themselves between the pages.
With two poems published already, she plans to create an entire poetry collection filled to the brim with all of her bewitching, written sorcery that will inspire and comfort each reader that happens to even just skim the pages, allowing herself room to grow as an ambitious author through this exciting new project, as well as creating a community of readers and writers alike with a sense of wonder and a longing to find somewhere comforting and special. This is where Fisheye will begin, but the quest ahead is long and arduous, filled with many trials and tribulations to be overcome by our young yet determined storyteller, and now you are a part of this journey, too.

My Story

Olivia Graves has had a passion for writing since the first grade, and has only deepened her love for the craft the older she's gotten. Her father, short story author J.J. Landry, has always been an inspiration to her despite their differences in genre. Olivia's love for all things fantasy, horror, and speculative fiction came about thanks to Leigh Bardugo's Shadow and Bone trilogy, sparking our young writer's creativity.
Growing up in the Northern Kentucky area, it never felt like there was anything fantastical around her, yet Olivia didn't let that stop her imagination from running wild. She made her world far more whimsical than it was through her vivid storytelling and knack for getting lost constantly in a daydream.
With a dream of being a full-time author and a New York Times bestseller, Olivia Graves works hard with every free moment that she can get between days long spent at school, working on whichever one of her manuscripts she's more fixated on at the moment, writing as much as she can with creativity and passion coursing through her veins.
Now a junior in high school, she's been taking her writing more seriously for the past seven years now and doesn't intend to stop now that her next big project: Fisheye: A Compendium of the Written Thoughts of a Dreamer is underway. She dares to dream big and hopes that this soon-to-be poetry collection will open the doors for her to be able to publish her soon-to-be novels.
